7/3/2023 Wise Refund Process:

Overall the experience to cancel my ETC and get my refund went pretty smoothly. I understand that it’s hard to send Yen 💴 deposit back to the owner in dollar 💵. So that is why you had to use wise. I just didn’t trust the wise platform completely. But it wasn’t to bad and I did get my money back.

Overall having a ETC made driving so much easier. I was able to see places much easier instead of having to find a cash toll booth. I would definitely get one again when I move back to japan.

The service is great, it has allowed me to see so many parts of Japan. Love being able to take the exits that are ETC only, so that I do not have to drive further.
